Frequently Asked Questions

If you have questions regarding any pool or spa products, please note that the best source to answer your questions or concerns is your local pool dealer. They will be able to give you the best pool “know how” knowledge from their personal experience, and discuss with you the personal nuances of your products.
Here, however, are a few questions and answers we can address. Please also feel free to contact us at your convenience.

We like to think that all patterns that we carry are the “best”. The pattern to choose, however, is the one that you like the most. Some people, for example, will pick a liner that matches the theme in their back yard.

  • If your coping is a terra cotta color, then select a pattern that has a similar shade in its print.
  • If you have a grey colored deck, then choose a pattern that has grey in it.

Each gauge has its own advantages. Your dealer should be able to discuss this with you in greater detail.

Although it will be subtle, yes you will. It is the pattern you choose that will reduce the seam visibility. Please contact your pool dealer to discuss the available pattern choices.

This is a tricky question; under normal conditions a vinyl covered step is not slippery. Although, it can become slippery if your chemical balance is off. The once non slippery step can become slippery due to algae growth that you can’t always see, so please check your chemicals as instructed by your pool dealer. Remember, take your time when entering the pool, and use a rail for guidance and support.
While we all love our household pet(s) and want them to have fun too, pool owners should consider not allowing them in the pool. A pet can damage, tear or puncture your new vinyl liner. While clearly up to the pet owner, it is usually best to keep pets out of the pool.

The change in temperature between the choice of a dark liner and a light colored liner is insignificant. There are too many variables that can determine the temperature of your pool. For example, your home location, do you live in the northern part of the nation or the southern. The pool location is it surrounded by trees, or in a sunny spot? The best choice is to buy what you like.
